Ministries

afterschool-adGood News Clubs® are CEF’s major school year ministry. The clubs meet weekly for about 75 minutes. The clubs have a Bible lesson, memory verse, missionary story, songs, games, a contest and more. All club staff are required to pass a background check to help ensure that the club is a safe place for your child to be. Many of the Good News Clubs occur after school on the school campus. The U.S. Supreme court ruled that Good News Club can meet on campus in the same manner as any other non-curriculum activity or club.5DC

5-Day Clubs® are CEF’s primary summer outreach. These clubs meet for a hour and fifteen minutes for 5 consecutive days. Activities include Bible lessons, missionary story, memory verse, songs, contest, games and more. These clubs primarily meet in host homes, bringing the clubs to the children, not the children to the club.

hqAlong with the clubs, CEF also has fair, computer, open-air, telephone and correspondence outreach programs for children. CEF provides classes to train their workers and other Christians who are burdened for evangelizing children. The Childrens Ministries Institute®, a modular 3-month course located at CEF’s International Headquarters in Warrenton, Missouri, is dedicated to providing quality, practical training for those called of God to take the Gospel message to children. Similar training is offered in various locations around the world.resizedimage7392-heaven-and-how

An exciting program for teenagers is Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA). In June all across the USA hundreds of young people are trained to conduct 5-Day Clubs. Throughout the summer they have many opportunities to present the Gospel to boys and girls, experiencing the joy of leading others to the Lord. In 2009, 101 teens attended CYIA camp.
